2006 Victoria Block Barrel Fermented Chardonnay VQA PEC
The elegant barrel fermented chardonnay was aged for 9 months in new, one year old and two year old French oak. Pale straw in colour, this wine has a complex nose of sweet oak with hints of vanilla and melon. The palate is distinguished by notes of melon and mango followed by a lengthy and refreshing finish.
Perfect to serve with lobster or white fish in cream sauce, it will pair well with delicately flavoured cheeses such as asiago or emmenthal.
