Tasting Notes
Deceitful yet Delightful. Don't let the light ruby red colour deceive you. Not your typical fruit driven gamay. A light smokiness jumps out on the nose and once settled there are lovely notes of sour cherry and wild berry with underlying notes of spice and white pepper. On the palate the tannin is very soft and delicate and the fruit character carries through. A good balance of acidity gives the wine a long finish with those peppery notes appearing on the dry finish. Serve slightly chilled. Aged 14 months in French oak
