2009 Leon Millot
Dry red wine
This red wine is well-balanced and full bodied, with a beautiful ruby red colour. On the nose, it’s a wonderful array of smoke, herbs and a hint of clove… with a whisper of violets at the end! On the palate, you’ll experience unravelling layers of leather, blackberry and pepper. Due to its youth and tannic structure, this wine continues to linger and evolve long after it’s gone. Well integrated Canadian oak (aged for 6 months), Leon Millot is an excellent accompaniment to strong cheeses, lamb, steak and heavy pasta dishes. Enjoy now or age up to 5 years.
